LECTURES AND PRESENTATIONS
Mr. McHugh has been invited more than 75 times to lecture
on law and trial advocacy, by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute;
Trial Advocacy Foundation of Pennsylvania; Philadelphia
Bar Association; Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association;
Philadelphia Association of Defense Counsel; Temple University
Law School Graduate Program; University of Pennsylvania
Law School; Dickinson School of Law; Pennsylvania State
Conference of Trial Judges; and the Philadelphia Court
of Common Pleas, Civil Division.
He has been asked to
give several major addresses. Upon induction to the American
College of Trial Lawyers, he was selected by the President
to deliver the acceptance speech on behalf of more than
100 new fellows from the United States and Canada. He was
invited to London to lecture on public service by the National
Solicitors Pro Bono Conference of England. He also lectured
to the New Jersey Trial Lawyers Association as part of
its annual panel of “Top Ten” litigators in
the United States. On several occasions, he has presented
an acclaimed seminar on persuasion, entitled “The
Power of Ideas.”
